The standardized tests: When neoliberalism sits in the classrooms

Abstract

Since the creation of the scholarship, with the birth of modern states, until today, many modifica- tions has done to the educative system. In most cases, these reforms did not come from inside of the schools, neither they were driven by their actors. The educational policies has been developed always from outside of the educational space, and then adopted, without possibility of adaptation, or very few of them. Throughout this essay, is intended shed light on about the inference of standar- dized international test in the education, especially in Argentina, and how as they impose measures of efficiently and quality in the classroom. Through the path of the notions of cognitive capitalism, competition and test of quality, it is pretends to glimpse the influence that the neoliberal rationality has about the educative policies.
