It is increasingly common to find art exhibitions conceived from a collaborative and experiential approach, fostering the incorporation of new voices in curatorial work beyond the strictly artistic realm. Through a case study focused on an educational curatorial project carried out in a contemporary art museum by a mixed team of teachers and museum educators, this research aims to assess the effectiveness of this collaboration and the impact of such proposals on the visiting public. Difficulties in collaborative work and different approaches to art education in museums are observed within the team. It is concluded that the collaboration between educators and teachers in an educational curatorial project has changed the perception of art education and teaching practice among its members, resulting in a more participatory and meaningful exhibition for the visiting public.
