Protection and preservation of archaeological heritage: the case of inka ragá ruins, anchash region – Peru

Abstract

The objective of this article is to generate a reflection on the situation of the archaeological heritage of Inka Ragá, an area located in Conchucos, Ancash region of Peru. The study is the result of experiential experience or field work in an archaeological area covered with natural landscapes that has remained hidden over time, despite the fact that it represents part of the ancestral identity of the region. In this sense, the relevance of this study lies in the possibility of encouraging a level of awareness in the academic community, State entities and the private sector in order to preserve and value the archaeological heritage, always with respect to the historical traditions of Peru. millennial, which in recent times have been victims of human intervention and various natural disasters; Therefore, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention and understanding to the historical, social and philosophical importance of heritage buildings, as well as the education of citizens about their cultural identity
