Ethnocultural pairs: Coexistence and affective relationships in an environment characterised by cultural diversity

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the patterns of cohabitation and emotional relationships in ethnocultural couples characterized by cultural differentiations determined by the specificities of religion, language, geographical context, ideologies, belief systems and values. in other aspects. To achieve this goal, the research focuses on three fundamental aspects: 1. the approach derived from philosophical anthropology, which calls for the understanding and definition of ethnocultural couples limited by cultural differentiation, specific needs, different environments and by the mechanisms necessary for social development.  2. The importance of cohabitation and emotional relationships to achieve stable and lasting bonds, as well as expansion and cultural enrichment in ethnocultural couples. 3. The ethical dimension of coexistence and emotional relationships, which is essential to embrace the sense of cultural belonging, to understand the place that each individual occupies within the social structure, to preserve their identity characteristics and, at the same time, to contribute to the exchange and strengthening of dialogue between cultures. The method used is the hermeneutic-documentary. It concludes with the relevance of ethnocultural couples as a mechanism to protect cultural diversity in the face of the accelerated growth of Western globalization, which subsumes identities and leads to the homogenization of culture.
