Challenges for latin american education in the era of digital Postmodernity

The article proposes a theoretical and epistemic reflection on digital postmodernity based on the interaction of people in social networks and the role played by educational institutions. Society and its educational institutions are at several crossroads, which implies addressing challenges, threats and opportunities presented to us by the ecosystem of digital networks. Anhedonia is presented as a cause and effect of the world in which human lives revolve around the work environment and constant and massive consumerism. In this sense, the article, based on the bibliographic review, uses analytical categories reviewed by Byung-Chul Han who, through positivity and negativity, guides a guiding thread. The conclusions show a gloomy diagnosis, where absolute values ??have become blurred, listening has been withdrawn as well as contemplation. Our world is in disarray, which reveals hunger for the other and weariness of one's own.
