Abstract

This bibliometric study maps the scientific conversation on innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, focusing on viability and opportunities. Scopus (2015–2025) was analyzed using a Boolean equation in Title–Abstract–Keywords, a PRISMA-type flow, descriptive counts, co-word mapping, and a thematic map (centrality–density). The corpus comprises 741 documents from 315 sources, with a 24.95% annual growth rate, a mean age of 2.99 years, and 10.98 citations per document. A total of 2,216 authors participated, with no single-author articles, an average of 5.76 co-authors per document, and 23.62% international co-authorship. The Lotka curve shows a broad base of unique contributions and a narrow right tail with 16 authors who have ?39 publications. The thematic map suggests priorities: standardizing viability metrics, articulating circularity with business models, and better connecting with funding and public policy. This work offers a reproducible roadmap and practical guidance for informing agendas and decisions.
